We experience the city as a collection of walls, streets, and voids. But space is no longer just physical; it is permeated by invisible flows of data, history, and stories.
The project « Activating Space » is an architectural experiment designed to bridge the gap between the built environment and the virtual realm. I have scattered 10 activation points across Cologne and Troisdorf.
The Mission: from the industrial echoes of Ehrenfeld to the brutalist concrete of Troisdorf, each QR code you find acts as a digital anchor. It reveals a hidden layer of the location.
Don’t just look at the city. Connect with it.
